Theory Lessons
Our music theory lessons for beginners give students a breakdown to the theory behind popular music helping students learn to read, write and understand the majority of modern pop transcriptions.
Anything not covered in lessons which maybe desired by the student, whether it be a song or a style of play can be requested at anytime and our tutors will do their best to oblige
Tutors begin with basic major scales and chords. Simple rhythms given to students to clap, tap or click.
Eventually students will be encouraged to write chord charts and scores and will have the ability to interpret any piece of music
Students will be encouraged to take up an instrument. This will give students something practical to apply their new theory knowledge helping students make sense of everything taught and increase the pace of learning.
